Lloyd Hill – Managing Director
Lloyd has worked in the mining sector since 1981 and has performed senior management and technical roles for a number of blue chip mining companies at operations around the world. Lloyd’s experience spans the full cycle of assets from resource exploration and evaluation to conceptual design, pre-feasibility, construction, operation, and management.
Lloyd was formerly with BHP, Cyprus Amex, Glencore, Operations Manager with ResCo Services which had over 1200 employees and covered coal mine production, exploration, training and rehabilitation and General Manager Mongolia for Guildford Coal ASX:TER and took from exploration to production.

James Chisholm – Director
James is an engineer who has been involved in the coal industry since graduating from Sydney University in 1984. After a number of years engaged in optimisation of coal operations in New South Wales and Queensland, James moved into M&A and then started investing in mining operations. He was an early investor in Nucoal (ASX: NCR), co-founder of Guildford Coal (ASX: TER), founding director of Atrum Coal (ASX: ATU), co-founder of Ebony Energy Ltd, co-founder of organic phosphate company Fertoz (ASX: FTZ), co-founder of Ebony Iron (sold to Strategic Minerals AIM: SML) and founding director of CM Basin Coal Pty Ltd. James holds a Masters of Business Marketing from the University of Technology, Sydney

Ty Zehir Executive Director - In addition: Chief Marketing Officer – Technical and Commercial
Ty Zehir has been involved in North American coal project development and technical marketing to mills for over 30 years. He was VP Marketing for Smoky River Coal from 1990 to 1996, VP Marketing for Jinhui Metcoke China Ltd from 1996 to 1998, General Manager, Marketing for Teck Coal from 1998 to 2012, Vice President Marketing for Walter Energy from 2012 to 2016, and VP Marketing and Business Development for Atrum Coal Ltd from 2017 to 2020. Mr Zehir began his career in 1979 as a Project Engineer (Geotechnical) prior to becoming Senior Mining Engineer for Petro Canada’s Coal Division. He has a considerable network in steel mills around the world and significant experience in the technical aspects of coal blend development for steel mills and industrial users.

Timothy C. Howard (Harlan, Kentucky) – Engineering Consultant
Mr Howard is a seven-generation resident of Harlan County and a direct descendent of Samuel Howard, the first settler of Harlan County just after the Revolutionary War. Tim and his brother, David, founded Howard Engineering and Geology, Inc. (HEG), a consulting engineering company originally based in Coldiron (Harlan County) and later moved to the City of Harlan. HEG developed a reputation of offering cutting edge technological services to the mining industry, primarily in the field of regulatory permitting, compliance and reserve evaluation. HEG has also gained a reputation for offering quality services for a competitive price. HEG has provided engineering services throughout eastern Kentucky, southwest Virginia and east Tennessee, developing an impressive client list that includes Arch Minerals, Massey Energy, Alpha Natural Resources, James River Coal, US Coal, Pocahontas Development Corporation, Justice Companies, Kentucky River Properties, and several large independent companies in the region. Mr. Howard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Kentucky in 1984. At the age of 25, he received his license to practice as a Professional Engineer by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Mr. Howard has also obtained his Professional Engineering License in the states of Tennessee and Virginia
David W. Howard (Harlan, Kentucky) – Geology Consultant
At HEG for the past 27 years, Mr. Howard has assisted in management of the company’s consulting business and has provided expert witness services in numerous litigations regarding environmental, property damage, and safety issues for mining companies, oil and gas concerns and landowners. He has also provided project management of quality assurance and quality control for a number of construction projects. HEG was recognized in 2010 as a finalist for the Excellence in Entrepreneurship in Eastern and Southern Kentucky award sponsored by the Eastern Kentucky University College of Business Technology, Kentucky Highlands Investment Corporation and The Center for Rural Development. Mr. Howard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Kentucky in 1985 and is a licensed Professional Geologist in Kentucky and Tennessee. He serves as the Chairman of the Harlan County Conservation District, and the Board of Directors of the Camp Blanton Trust, Inc.
